Check out these photos, they outline the simplicity and beauty of life itself. As a photographer, they also define and mean a lot more to me. In my opinion, the definition of simplicity in photographs is: PICTURES THAT TELL A STORY. In the UK, Simplicity is just a sim. That is, you can simply stick with your current phone and pick a sim-only simplicity tariff, undoubtedly delivering best value to the discerning consumer.

Simplicity in photography, means pictures that have a narrative and story that clearly go with it, without the need for words. Below I’ve posted a few lovely shots of my own that tell stories in simplicity. If you like the satisfaction of knowing the story behind a picture, you will like the simplicity behind these photos.

These days, many people seem to be using a photo scanning service to scan their old photos. To me, at first glance this seemed unnecessary. My thinking was, why would I pay someone to do something I can easily do myself, like scan photos to digital. But the more I look into it, it actually makes a lot of sense, especially for people that have hundreds or even thousands of old photos. To scan them all your self could take days, possibly even weeks, depending on the speed of your computer and your scanner.

With companies like Photobin offering scanning for as little as $0.10 per scan why not simply mail the photos into them and let them do the tedious work for you. Especially when you consider that for many, their old family photos, and photos of their kids growing up are so irreplaceable that if a tragedy such as a fire or theft were to occur it would be absolutely devastating. So, I guess to answer my own question, a photo scanning service is by no means necessary, but it can actually be very useful.
