RIP Teddy Pendergrass

American R&B Legend Teddy Pendergrass reportedly died Wednesday evening (January 13, 2010). Pendergrass was known for his smash love ballads such as “Turn Off the Lights” and “Love TKO.” He died after after a long illness, reportedly with his family at his bedside. These awesome wave pictures were reportedly taken by Clark Little, a shore-break surfing pioneer from Waimea Bay on O‘ahu in Hawaii. He likes to take pictures showing the power of monstrous Hawaiian waves from the inside out, and the pictures below are a selection of his best wave pictures. His fans reportedly pay as much as $4,000 for his simply awesome photos. Check ‘em out!

Check out the picture of Angkor Wat temple complex in Angkor, Cambodia. It was built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Eastman Kodak To Raise Capital Through Senior Secured Notes

Eastman Kodak Co. (best known for its imaging and photographic materials and equipment) announced yesterday that it intends to raise up to US$700M through the sale of senior secured notes due in 2017. Private equity fund KKR & Co. has already committed to purchase US$400M of the debt offering.

However, Eastman Kodak’s stock price plummeted 11.23% to US$5.93 at the close of trade yesterday. Before KKR & Co.’s offer, investors were concerned about Eastman Kodak’s ability to fund the buyback without depleting cash revenues, however concerns now focus on the dilution of shareholder’s equity.

Patrick Swayze, the actor who danced his way into moviegoers hearts in the movie ‘Dirty Dancing’, then later broke these same hearts in the movie ‘Ghost’, died yesterday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
